Welcome to After School

When we began After School in 1981, our slogan was “The Place To Be.” The place to be where: there’s an adult waiting to hear about your day, a snack ready for you to enjoy, a friend around to share a joke or game, a quiet space to work on your homework and a lot of time and space to run , jump, play and just be a kid.

In the past 30 years, After School has grown and evolved, but the basic concept has remained the same. We are proud of the people who work in our sites and help shape the children we serve. We are now seeing our original After School kids walk thru the doors to enroll their own children in the program.

As we reflect on where we’ve been and where we are now, it is clear there is no better feeling in the world than to know that you were important in the life of a child.
