Harvest Week Program

Fall fun for all ages.

Monday, November 20th- Tuesday, November 21st, 2023| 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM

(San Carlos locations only)

When the San Carlos School District closes for the week of Thanksgiving, After School runs a special full-day program known as Harvest Week. Harvest Week is an exciting, theme-inspired week filled with activities such as making turkey headbands, Fall Wreaths and Leaf Rubbing craft. Also come join our kitchen activities and bake and enjoy some delicious Pumpkin Muffins and Acorn Donuts! Join in on the fall fun!

Lunch Bunch

Harvest Week we will provide Lunch Bunch daily.  Lunch Bunch is included in your enrollment price. Please pack a morning snack and water bottle daily.

Winter Holiday Program

Holiday fun and cheer!

Every year, San Carlos and Belmont Schools take a Holiday vacation between the middle of December and New Years. Recognizing that school and work schedules don’t always align, we created a full-day Winter Holiday Program filled with activities based on a specific theme. Children are given the option to participate in structured activities—but as always, also have the option to choose the activities they want to engage in.

All Day Camp Friday, December 22nd, 2023| 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM

Week 1- Wednesday December 27th- Friday December 29th, 2023 | 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM

Week 1 ” The Pre- Party”

Come in and join in all the Pre Winter Party Celebrations! Play our fun game of Snowball Dodgeball.  Participate in Paper Plate Ice Skating and then Make some delicious Ice Cookies! Challenge yourself in a Sink or Float  STEM experiment!

Week 2 – Tuesday, January 2nd- Friday, January 5th, 2023 | 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM

Week 2 “All Things Winter”

This week come and enjoy our fun  Ping Pong Snowman Launch and Minute to Win it Snowman Game. Participate in our Exploding Snowman STEM Project. Come make some Beaded Icicles and Snowflake Crafts and finish of the week with your own hot chocolate in our Hot Chocolate Bar!

Winter Break we will provide Lunch Bunch daily.  Lunch Bunch is included in your enrollment price. Please pack a morning snack and water bottle daily.

Enrollment Options

Weeks 1 & 2 of the Winter Holiday Program has a 1, 2,3, or 4-day enrollment options.  You may register for either one or both weeks.

Please note that for Winter Holiday Programs:

All Day Camp- Friday, December 22rd, 2023 is at the Arundel and Heather sites only.

Week 1 (December 27th- 29th) is at the Arundel and Heather sites only.

Week 2 (January 2nd-5th) is at the Arundel and Heather sites only.

Current Participants

Families currently enrolled in the After School program can register by logging into our parent portal and clicking “Registration.”

The cost for current afternoon After School participants is $50 per day. Please note if your child(ren) are currently enrolled in the Breakfast Club or extended care only you will be charged the non-participant rate.

Presidents’ Week Program

Calling All Superheroes!

Tuesday, February 20th- Friday February 23rd, 2023| 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM

Around mid-February each year, San Carlos and Belmont schools take a vacation week corresponding to Presidents’ Day. During that week, we offer a Presidents’ Week Program that, like all of our other programs, is filled with fun, theme-inspired activities. This week come test your super powers in our superhero obstacle course and coin toss games. Hide your secret identity by designing your very own hero mask, and even make your own shield like Captain America! So come and join us in this super week of fun-filled activities.

Lunch Bunch

Lunch Bunch will be provided daily during the Presidents’ Week Program.  Please have your child bring a daily morning snack and water bottle.  Lunch Bunch is included in your enrollment price.

Spring Break Program

Winter Olympics Part 1!

Monday, April 8th – Friday, April 12th 2023 | 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM

Available in San Carlos and Belmont

Welcome to Olympics week where we will be testing your child’s skills, abilities and creative minds. We will follow our After School Olympics oath “I promise to follow the rules of the game, to be fair, and be a good sport and honor my teams! I’ll remember to play for fun!” We will work together to form our Olympic trails by having preliminary training activities such as: the long jump, 50/100 meter dash and shot put. We will test your perseverance with a snowboarding steam, and lastly we will come together to celebrate the Olympic opening with a torch lighting ceremony and Olympic cookies!

Field Trip: Tuesday 4/9 We’re bowling at BelMateo Bowl in San Mateo!
